Here are my pocket watches - there are three because of printer ink issues. I did a little image editing of a commercial photo to create my watch.

Monotangle Adventure #20

This week's tangle is Cockles-n-Mussels This has a great free-form flow to it. I'm posting this version with no shading because I'm planning to add pink and orange pencil - not sure how it will come out!

Here's my tangle using the tangle cracked. It's another tangle with boring squares to fill, but with fun results!

Adventures in Monotangles #17

This is my monotangle done with Knight's Bridge. It's the simplest of tangles and can be used a thousand different ways.

And while I'm playing catch up, I finished my monotangle from two weeks ago using Cadent. Cadent is one of my favorites, but I had never used it in a monotangle. I added color to distinguish the layers.

Meanwhile I have also missed The Bright Owl's challenges - there are only so many hours in the day - especially after the 8 hours at work. But here is a free form mandala that I drew recently.

And I have another hobby that consumes my time - I have been sewing birds!

This week's tangle is Hollibaugh. I'm not sure that coloring in the background is soothing - I'm thinking tedious. But the end result is rewarding!

The Diva's challenge this week is to use a repeating square pattern.

I designed my own square and used it as a border and a curvy fill.

The tangle for this week is called Verve. Here is my monotangle - I tried a different kind of string this time - one with some sort of shape :D And I added a bit of color, too.

Zendala Dare 60

This week the challenge is to redo a challenge template that was troublesome. Well, I had no issue picking out the worst, ugliest Zendala that I have posted. It was Dare 52 where part of the center was supposed to be replaced with Hollibaugh - instead of the 6 overlapping circles. Last time around, I drew a hot mess - LOL. This time I'm a LOT happier with the results!
