Adventures in Monotangle #8

This a variation or tanglelation of Phicops. It's one of my favorite tangles, but I wanted to try something different with it.

For my dodecahedron side, I borrowed Roy's idea of layered Phicops!

Adventures in Monotangle #7

I admit to being a week behind for the monotangle adventure! This is the week 7 tangle - Onamato.

--@@@@@--

I also wanted to post my 3D project. It will be a small dodecahedron - each surface being roughly 2 inches square (or, more accurately, 1.25 inch sides.)

Weekly Challenge #113

YAY - finished all my challenges this week! The Diva's challenge was to use box strings, one inside another. This left the choice of tangles a free-for-all LOL

Adventures in Monotangles #6

Another new to me tangle - Auraknot! Luckily there are no mistakes in Zentangling - so I just kept going....

I created this negative image and colorized it using PaintShop Pro.

Zendala Dare #52

For this dare, we had to overlay the template with a section of hollibaugh. This is my attempt!

Adventures in Monotangle #5

W2 is the tangle this week. A fun geometric shape, but how to do the transition from one area to another in a monotangle became my challenge. Should the "strips" end abruptly or should they dangle over - LOL
Here is my tile - decided to make a scalloped transition

While practising W2, I finished off a ZIA that I had half started.

Weekly Challenge #112

Tuxedo is the required tangle this week. At first it seemed like a mess of lines going every which way, but when I completed it step by step, it came out cute!

Adventures in Monotangles #4

For this monotangle we were to use Indy-Rella. I had not seen this tangle before, so I practiced all week on scratch paper. Below are a couple of my practice pieces. Being from Indy (Indianapolis) I feel like I should own this tangle and the more I drew it, the better I felt about it. It's easy to take on a flowing path.
